FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW ARE CAMPERS BROKEN INTO TEAMS?

Campers are broken into teams based on their age, positions and also the size of the field they play on. We offer both 60'/90' and 50'/70' size fields.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?

In the case of inclement weather we will move all activities inside to the Bishop Hendricken Gymnasiums. Campers should always be prepared for both indoor and outdoor activities.

IS THERE A LIMIT ON ENROLLMENT?

In order to ensure that each camper gets optimal instruction and interaction with our instructors, we do place a cap on enrollment. We normally reach capacity before the beginning of camp.

IS LUNCH PROVIDED FOR CAMPERS?

For our summer camps, campers should bring their own lunch each day. However, on the final day of camp, Friday, lunch will be provided for campers. Coolers are available for storage of lunches if needed. There is also a concession stand open daily for the purchase of snacks and drinks.

WHAT KIND OF CARE IS AVAILABLE IN THE EVENT OF INJURY OR SICKNESS?

We have a Registered Nurse and/or Athletic Trainer on duty. Any inhalers or Epipens can be kept with the nurse/trainer. Also, multiple staff members are certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.

WHAT SHOULD CAMPERS WEAR EACH DAY?

Campers should wear their provided camp t-shirt, baseball pants, belt, and camp hat each day. They should be sure to have appropriate footwear for both indoor and outdoor activities.

WHAT SHOULD CAMPERS BRING EACH DAY?

Campers should bring a baseball glove, bat, helmet, batting gloves (optional), and catchers gear (if applicable). We will have equipment available for use as well. They should also be sure to bring a lunch and water bottle each day. Water coolers and cups will be provided.
